Just got back from a 2 hour thai massage..... god it was good. Came back and watched a movie about Piranhas and Brothers on HBO. Typing this while Darryl whips up a bowl of tomyum maggi for me. The cup noodles here are delicious. The weather here is unbearable. It crossed my mind a couple of times to run naked down the streets of bangkok. The sun is.............
Anyway the room is really cold now and every time we leave the room the camera lens are all fogged up and the effect is something like that. I like it, shall take more tomorrow. Visiting the huge flea market tomorrow, we overspent by a lot - he is more of a shopaholic than i am. Not that I was one to begin with, but he has more buys than me. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT.

Our flight was delayed by an hour so we touched down in bangkok 5pm Bkk timing - checked in to the hotel at like 6 plus - was pretty grumpy at first because we wasted so much time and also we thought we were promised the junior suite..... but the superior room is fucking huge. There's a bathtub, there's a mini kitchen, there's a balcony, and there's a living room area. I love this place!!!!!!!
Good morning...... in the middle of my sleep I pulled out all my eyelashes AGAIN. SO FRUSTRATED. Now I look hideous and I don't wanna look at anyone - in the morning I didn't even want to look at Darryl. He had to keep telling me I was still pretty for me to get out of bed....... still on whiny mode now. Now I have non existent eyelashes. Shall wear sunglasses the whole of today.

It is gorgeous, i wish i could upload more pictures but the wifi here is sucking in at the moment... today was good, we combed the whole of platinum mall, was pretty disappointed with the clothes here, I felt like as if I was forcing myself to buy some stuff, maybe because I've heard so much about Platinum Mall and expected it to be better? In the evening we visited Siam Square - it was amazing. It's like Haji Lane - and the clothes are gorgeeeeeoussssss!! Went from shop to shop all the way until they closed - going back tomorrow for some more shopping! Really don't want this trip to end - we eat whatever we want and wherever we want. Hopefully the internet will stop being a bitch so I can post some more pictures here...

Today he surprised me with a huge box. Inside the box was a backpack, a polaroid camera, a rose, a box of brownies, and two notepads. I was shocked to receive such a huge gesture, maybe because I've forgotten how being on the receiving end felt like, I just sat there smiling to myself for a good ten minutes before taking a picture of him to capture the moment.

Yesterday I told myself that we were going to have a budget day - so we went downstairs to have porridge and dishes for dinner - after wards i wanted to buy bubble tea so we went to TPY hub in our boxers - decided to repair my phone's back casing (because I dropped it and it has like a million cracks now) and that cost me $50 with a new ugly polka dotted red casing - got my eyelashes fixed - I subconsciously like to pluck them out when I'm half asleep - did grocery shopping - bought masks from face shop - and as if that's not enough? - we went for poker afterwards.
It's amazing how much time you can spend with me and not get tired of me. I always thought of myself to be the kind of girl who is very easily satisfied, and doesn't ask for much in return. Thank god I met you, because you're a replica of me. I don't know how you can be smiling almost every single time I look at you, but whenever I see that glow in your eyes, i remember why my heart did cartwheels even from the beginning. You're my new best friend.

Wow this is the first time I've been away for so long - look - it's been a month exactly. Have been so caught up with work and everything else. Most of my nights are spent in ang mo kio, playing poker and making sure everything is in order - the rest of my nights are spent with my best friends catching up, and the remaining rest of my nights.... well i've been spending a lot of time with a very special someone!!! ^^ 2012 has been an amazing year for me. For once reality is sooooo much better than in my dreams. I hate sleeping! The only time I sleep is just to make sure my body recuperates so the next day I have enough energy to be up and about. This year has taught me so many new things - has taught me to think more maturely, stronger, and tougher. Since I'm working now, because I know it's not really for the long term, I try my best to always bring my best friends out for lunch and what not so can build good karma for myself kekekeke. And I have been gaining a lot of weight recently... need to start jogging again!!!!!

Yesterday work ran all the way from 930pm - 230pm. THAT SICK. I only had like an hour of shut-eye before heading home to change and meet these two girls!!!!! This is why i'm losing my youth......

But nonetheless, very very happy to see both of them. ^^

Just got back from a long night at Planet Paradise with the whole group of us. No in matter of fact, the night ended pretty damn early. Opened 5/6 bottles which lasted us for about 2/3 hours? I'm so proud of my new alcohol tolerance level. I used to be soooo horrible in drinking. Now I think I'm pretty good at not getting drunk? Wahahahaha

Last night I dealt at my first $2/2 game. The pots were huge and the heat was intense. I'm officially one step closer to buying my macbook + bike license + all expenses paid bangkok trip.

I've never felt better my whole life - I can finally afford to buy the things I'd always been eyeing, and whenever me and my best friends go out, I always feel like taking them out to dinner because I wouldn't still be here if not for my friends. I would have been in the morgue by now, decaying. I must say I have been to hell and back. During the worst days of my life when I would feel like death, (literally), and people around me would be telling me things like 'life goes on, time will heal all scars' while I would hold my head in my hands crying, wondering where the fuck these people get their optimism from.... it's all in the past. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I feel like now I'm one step closer to being invincible. I've got my own life, my own hobbies, no commitments, no one to hold close enough to hurt me, and it's pretty damn unbelievable but I feel..... great. Maybe everyone becomes like this when they turn 21. Or maybe I'm just overreacting. But even if I am, it's for a good cause. Because I've sure as hell waken the fuck up. And I'm so proud of myself!! ^^

2012 is going to be a good year I can fucking feel it already!!!! I havent felt sad ever since the new year began! And I've set so many new goals for myself - and I sure as hell am determined to make them work.

HI!!! Realised I didn't blog about how I spent my 20th birthday. It was my first birthday I spent as a single lady. All my previous birthdays (ever since I was 14?) I was lucky enough to spend with a boyfriend at that point of time. Guess this one was God's way of telling me "20 already ah, must grow up be independent a bit."

So yerrrrrrppppzzzzz turning 20 independently was one of the most magical moments of my life. Fuck boyzzzzzz (rocker sign)

Instead I went to City Plaza the first thing I woke up to get my eyebrows and eyelashes done. #foreveralone #truestory
For dinner I had Thai Express with my mom and sisters!!! My favourite food in the world currently is Tomyum. Ever since I came back from Bangkok like a few months ago, and I'll never say no to a meal at Thai Express. Never!!!! My mom was like "for your birthday you wanna go eat Thai Express??! o.O" I was like "YA." Super girl-next-door pattern.

After dinner we headed straight down to Nana! Met Eeruey whom I haven't seen in the longest time. Shall let pictures do the talking from here x

Happy birthday to me, i've finally officially turned 20. My birthday was unforgettable, in both good ways and bad. It definitely did not turn out as expected, but then again, i had a blast. And i cannot be more thankful for my friends. Made new ones and caught up with old ones. Really old ones.... Countdown tonight! Like my new tattoo? REALLY IMPULSIVE. Was supposed to get it done on my back but when they said it'd look good on my thigh i was like "Just whack."

A really awesome song to kickstart this post and also to make up for not touching the com for 6 days - I've been THAT busy. Either caught up with appointments, photoshoot, work, or just trying to make up for lost time with friends. So many things have happened since I last blogged.....

1. Got a new dog (WTF?)
2. Changed my hair color - pretty drastically!
3. Went to church for the first time since 6 months ago4. Chilled out.

Wow I forgot when was this... I think last? weekend? My weekends have pretty much become boring..... not that I mind of course. But I never thought I would actually miss being in Nana, around alcohol, loud music and sleazy women. Oh! This was when we caught Apple Of My Eye at Cathay. Errr... not my kind of show I guess? And I get damn annoyed whenever my friends start listening to the soundtrack of the movie when we're chilling. Hahahahahahahahaa

That day I met my best friends for dinner at nex. I dont like going to nex. It's huge and I always get lost and up till now I havent been to the stupid dog cafe. And it's bugging the fuck out of me because every time we plan on going there and when we reach I forget all about it. And then again part of me doesnt wanna go because I'm afraid I'll go there and be like "CHEY." So yeah might as well?

It was "Kelly's Day" so she decided what to eat. Actually proposed Subway. That made me feel like dying. I hate bread. The only time I'll ever eat bread is when I haven't eaten for 48 hours and breadtalk is the only place that has food nearby. Other than that? Never. Ew.

So we decided on some place called Tomato Express. Or was it Tomato Grill...? Fuck I'm horrible at names. But it was damn awesome. Loved it.

This was the... Steak and Prawn! Got mine in medium rare with pepper sauce and it comes with Aglio Olio and a salad at the side. Yummy as hell. SO going to go back for more next time. Where else has this?!! I LOVE.

Kw got pork chop. With sausages at the side + aglio olio + salad. BUT IT DIDNT TASTE AS GOOD AS MINE!!!!!! Even as i'm typing this now I'm craving for this again. Gah!

After dinner kw left for soccer and marky came. Sat at the steps for like 2 hours just talking about anything that came to our minds, and for once I wish that time didn't have to go by so fast. It's a wonderful feeling to have awkward silences with your friends that aren't awkward, because in the next couple of seconds someone would be fighting to speak. Do I even make sense? But I'm so happy whenever my friends tell me they can tell I'm changing for the better. Like they can tell I'm becoming a better person...? Chuck Bass female edition. Okay come on I wasn't even that bad to begin with. Midnight rolled around and then it was everyone's turn to kiss and say goodbye

Next day I got out of the house without washing my hair which I normally never do because I feel gross when I wake up because your hair gets oily. Decided to cover up with a beanie. Felt better afterwards. Went for my hair appointment at Suntec's Icon by Shunji Matsuo. Hated it. Hated the place, hated the people there, hated the service. Never going back there again. Blah. I chose a really dark shade of red, but now my hair looks like it's going through her period...............

WHY LIKE THAT.

Maybe probably after a few times of washing it'll look better? Doesnt help when right after I got my hair done I went for sixntwelve's photoshoot for the christmas collection with Shuhua..... + my fat face I totally look like a clown. Hahahaha die.

Still contemplating where to go and what to do from here. Shall start off with a cigarette. Ciao!

Dear diary, this week has been horrible for me. But I've mentioned before. Haters gonna hate, no matter what you do. This week has really taught me many things, how to keep calm, keep sane, and just live. As long as my conscience is clear, it doesn't matter what people are saying. Just don't scare me into thinking I did something even I am not aware of. Because the stories are getting more and more ridiculous. It's like as if I've been leading a double life, some stories don't even make sense. Saying sorry...... is something that never was a big deal to me. I'm not one who needs to win every argument because as long as the friendship/relationship means alot, saying sorry is a piece of cake. But what I'm not willing to say sorry for is for something I didn't do. So stop trying to pin every bit of shit in your life on me.

I thank god for all my friends who've stood by me. and all those who didn't.
because it really is when you're at your lowest, you'll see who'll sink just as deep to be next to you. And those who'll sink deeper just to have a better view of you drowning.

I never signed up for any of this when I decided to open my heart to someone new..... yet most of you people out there want to see me miserable. What do you gain from that?

Halllllllo I rub my eyes and BAM it's wednesday already. Wednesday evening in fact, souljaboy coming out tomorrow!!! For a while because he has to go visit the psychiatrist again omg kaching kaching but i'm happy cos i can see him for a while. Time seems to be flying by even faster now after the 2 weeks of confinement. Ha! Kiss my ass saf!

I think we're going to be boring and stick to going Bangkok in January. It's TOO EARLY IN THE YEAR AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO GO ANYWHERE OMG!!! I had like $$ in my savings but I've been ovespending recently : ( Plz let a miracle happen and I get bombarded with lotsa $$ plz!!! I pray pray pray that finally something good will happen to me aaaaaaah! Even with my birthday coming it's not like I'm excited or what because with my birthday comes christmas and so EVERYONE REMEMBERS CHRISTMAS MORE THAN ME TURNING 20!!!!

Been doing nothing but lie in bed the whole day. Went downstairs to watch Disney Channel for a bit with Czen and even my mom was surprised by my company. Came up with little new year resolutions that I'm going to stick to hahahahaha really i swear!!!! Things like:

You know the rumour about all cigarettes in the world going have the same packaging in the world's attempt to slowly destroy the addiction - meaning next time all we get to choose from in shops will be Menthol, Menthol Lights, and Reds? Won't have different branding already because all the companies going to stop production. And then another rumour saying cigarettes price going to increase already - Next time $30 a pack for like 30 sticks. WTF SIAO HAHA. Dont know whether this one true anot lah but the first rumour is true. It's in the news!!! I cannot tank any other cigarettes other than Marlboro Ice Blast so I'll probably die once they pass this law. Might as well quit already right! I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!! What a crazy, well spent weekend. I had so much fun, and I've never drank so much in my whole life. Didn't even have the energy to shower before I slept last night, and I woke up reeking of alcohol and with a massive headache. Thank god for my friends last night and kw who watched out for me from start to finish.

Wait wait wait! Have to go day by day right? On Friday I took a longnormous train ride all the way to Chinese Garden so that I could see him the minute he reached home. Really can see army boys very happy to book out sia last warning hahahaha we went to town after that for dinner with my friends FOR ONCE!! All along he's been bringing me out with his friends so this weekend was especially for me and my best friends! We had Thai Express - my favourite food! Hahahaha wa really so happy i get to choose everything hehehe

After dinner we bought my favourite bbtea and sat down - that's when army boys all around sgp happen to 'bump' into each other and they'll start having their own army conversation and we girls will be like

Next day woke up really early feeling pretty excited because on Saturday we have like 24 hours to do everything we wanna do instead of like half a Friday or half a Sunday. So there was totally no rushing or errands to be run, but we didn't wanna waste it either! Kw had this mad craving for Ikea so we had meatballs for lunch. Not a fan of Ikea meatballs though... Walking around Ikea... what's new? Ogling at furniture I'd never own and admiring lights/portraits I'd never buy. I guess some times my simplicity is getting old and boring. Just for once, I'd like to be rich, and spendthrift. I want to be able to buy anything my eyes desire. Anything I can set my eyes on. But no..... I can't. Even shopping at town, if I set my eyes on a particular dress/pants/top, I won't just register nice? in my head. I will think whether or not

1. Comfortable to wear?
2. Cheap?
3. Is it one of those "wear it once then don't feel like wearing alrdy" kind?4. Do you have a pair of shoes/bag to match it with?

As long as ONE of the answers to the above questions is a no, straight away I will chuck it back to where I found it. I'm THAT picky when it comes to clothes one. I will imagine how it'd look like in my head before even having to try it on. I don't even like going to the fitting room unless I really have to. Which is recently because I used to think I was an XS but now really I'm an S. Ffffffffuuuuuuuu

We roamed around town until evening rolled around then we prepared to go Zouk!

Meryl and Kiki - my new girlfriends who I've been meeting for supper ever since Damien and Kw enlisted! I don't normally open up to girls but they've been nothing but nice and real to me. I love.

Couldn't take it any more and was starting to wanna lie down all over the place so kw brought me back safely. Reached home was too shag to bathe or even move, straight away collapse onto the bed and just started seeing stars in the darkness. Kw just lay there stroking my hair until I fell asleep.....

This morning woke up with my head still pounding. Nevertheless had a quick shower and met Zack and Gab to have one of my favourite food - ji ding cao fan!!!! I remember I used to rave about it all the time when I used to crash Gab's house back then.... It's like a race, the pace people can come and go in our lives. I'll never know who'll be the next one to walk out of my life. But for now, I'll be cherishing those around me who are taking care of me, those I know who do appreciate me being around and making an effort to stay in my life. Haven't been this happy. Even happier when I see kw is making an effort to talk to my friends who he knows are important to me. Extra happier when I see my friends doing the same.

Been catching up with old friends, ate some great food, did some shopping, gambled away some money, mahjonged and won back the money, starting on a new tv series......

I don't know. Somehow I feel my life is well balanced this way. Haven't been partying in ages. I guess this week end will be the start of a crazy 3d2n partyfest. It's been forever since I gave myself a huge cup of alcohol and downed it in seconds. Now that I don't have anything to drink for - there's only one thing i can drink to - happiness.

Ok anyway some random iphone shots to fill you guys in on what I've been up to

First thing I do every morning when I wake up - have my first morning puff. Sometimes I do it before brushing my teeth, to make my mouth as gross as possible before brushing my teeth and make it all clean and fresh again. I hate morning breath. Neither do I like kissing in the morning. Some may call it romantic but NOT ME!!!!! Okay sidetracking - sometimes in the morning when you have your first puff your body starts giving way and you'll catch a glimpse of how it first felt like to pick up your first ever puff - seh seh one. Then I'll just be lying on the bench for a while enjoying the moment hahahahaha wtf

That day Lucas picked me up from home and brought me to one of this restaurant pub at Holland V - called Wala's! Gab and Zack joined us for dinner - we had beer, chicken wings and cigarettes - the food is yumzyumz but it's a little too expensive for my liking. I'm very budget one! I can go on and on about how much I love katong laksa and chicken rice~~

One of the days I met Cel and Kel - the two girlfriends I can really, really, trust. Not to forget Whitney, but she's not here, she met us only later. I have trust issues. Gotta start working on em. Doesn't improve when everyone around you is just making things worse.

Every morning I wake up to this beautiful sweetheart. She's such an angel, with an owner like me who has a highly dysfunctional body clock - she doesn't eat until I go downstairs and eat whenever I wake up in the evening/middle of the night. Not because she can't, she doesn't want to! Even when I leave the door open she'll stay in the room by my side. Aw!!!!

I think this was.........on Monday. Met yq at town for my favourite garlic prawn pasta!!!! He wanted to go shopping and I was supposed to accompany him but in the end i wound up buying more stuff than him

oh and just in case you guys were wondering, he's been both supportive and happy for me and kw and it's never made me this relieved. He says he's happy that I'm finally being treated nicely and I'm happy most of the time. And the weirdest thing is that we used to watch kw play basketball together like 3/4 years back!! HAHAHAHA SO SICK! It's such a small fucking small world. And what's even funnier is he even wanted to help yq get discount because his friend working at LeftFoot and yq wanted to buy his dr marts. What's there not to like about him?

This was on Tuesday! Cel told me she wanted to do some shopping as well at town so I decided to accompany her! Since I've got so much free time on my hands bahahahaha. But I'm so glad I did it - we caught up and ate and shopped and talked like little girls!

So today's finafuckinglythursday..... tomorrow I get to see the souljaboy! He's been complaining to me about how icky and gross camp is and all the pimples he's been growing but I fucking don't care I just want to see him and spend time with him and that's that! Gah I don't even know how to spend the rest of today. Just wanna sleep it off so when I wake up, BAM! Friday evening!!!!!!

I don't get what I want most of the time, and I'm used to people saying no in my face. I grew up next to bruises and scars so pain isn't something worth mentioning about to me. That's why I don't get why some people always feel the need to want to compete with me. I have nothing to be proud of, and basically, you'll have nothing to be proud of if you feel like you've won. You'll always find me with the shorter end of the stick, no matter where you look. My self-esteem has taken the plunge countless times, and by now I already feel no different from a ragdoll. I have serious trust issues, so it takes me awhile to really trust some one. It took me 3 years to really open up to my current best friends, who have stuck by me every step of the way. Nothing makes me more grateful to have them by my side, supporting every single decision I make. Even those stupid ones, where I would stick to my gut feeling while they would wish me luck and send me on my way. Well basically what I'm trying to say is......... I'm sick of getting caught up with all this teenage drama. We're getting old, we should be growing up as well.

Was looking through pictures over the past year or so, feeling a little nostalgic all of a sudden. I stumble across memories I never knew I had, and I find myself smile at the faces of really old friends. It's true, you know what they say about life - people come and go - and it's through time you'll be able to know who are the true, real ones. I'm so glad and contented with my life now, everything's finally picking up, and I know this time there isn't any "deadline" or "end" approaching - this time I wake up every morning feeling so... refreshed. So new. So contented. There's finally someone that I can call, any time of the day, someone wanting nothing but to hear the sound of my voice, and my ability to make his day by just spending a few minutes on the phone. I dont know! It just feels so surreal. This feeling. Never thought anyone could come close in making me feel this... alive again. Dear god I know I destroy almost everything I touch, but I pray that this time I'll do things right.

So many things to do, so little time. 2012 is going to be perfect. At least it feels that way, for now.

Hello! Yesterday was a happy day for both me and kw - he managed to sneak out for 9 hours just to see me ^^ Dating is the best part of any relationship - it's when both parties start doing stupid things to impress the other party, even the actions don't even make sense, right? For example, he was supposed to leave saf terminal, pick me up from my place, then go home to change, me being so excited to see him, took a cab from my house instead to pick him up at the terminal (which is at changi) and after that took a detour back to his place at Jurong East.

Cab fare fucking dang, close to $40. WTF GUYS?????? The cab driver confirm fucking happy one his eyes got the $$ sign when I told him after saf terminal go Jurong East. Hahaha! But when I saw him in his uniform at the bus stop waiting with that huge smile plastered all over his face, I guess it was worth it in the end!

After his place we rushed down to Raffles Medical where he had to go to his crazy expensive appointment with this psychiatrist. Last warning. the amount they charge per hour is fucking madness!!! But it's worth it - hopefully after he pop he can get 8-5 ^^

Then we caught In Time at Illuma!!!!!!!! The show is fucking awesome and I can't stop thinking about it. A cup of coffee for 2 days of your life - how sick is that? If monetary value was measured in the amount of time you had left to live? BAM.

While walking around Bugis St while waiting for our movie this random eunice showed up to say hi hahahahaha still bring her niece along gai gai! Some more the niece unfriendly one. Never play shake hand or share name, but once you take out camera she happy already. Hahahahaha

After the movie we headed to Haji to say hi to his friends and I walked around for a little bit.... wishing that I had tons and tons and tons of money in my pocket. *frustrated* Then he felt like eating sushi so we went to Cathay and had Japanese food~ Didn't have time to take pictures by then because mostly it was rushing and more rushing until he got home to change and send me home before he got shipped to tekong like a lost soldier.

9 more days till his confinement ends but every day is crawling by. Then again, November is halfway gone and December is approaching. Is it just me or is time going by faster than it should?

Anyway stayed in the whole of today, trying to clear out my closet/shelves/old crap. Threw out so many things my whole corridor was filled with rubbish, felt so good afterwards and wanted to reward myself with a good old fashioned jog but it started pouring. Story of my life. Meeting Lucas for dinner, hopefully he brings me somewhere nearby where they sell hot food! Could use some. Time please fly by quickly!

Couple of photos from the past week - It's been only 5 days since kw enlisted and my life is back to the way it was before i met him - everyday with my best friends, eating, hanging out, and most importantly, i'm back on track, feeding my mahjong addiction. *.*

He tells me he might be able to come out on tuesday - so excited!!!!!!! My life is so mundane without him - no one to bring me to places to walk around, to do whatever I want, to eat whatever I feel like eating. Ok cannot start turning into a spoilt brat. But seriously! Anyway, my mahjong luck has been pretttttyyyy sick these days - and I'm trying to save up to take my bike license + macbook!! Hopefully in time for my birthday, which is around the corner!!!! Finally, i'm turning 20 soon!!!! But..... I don't think I have enough time. Damn independence, I'm getting really tired of having to afford everything on my own. But when life gives you lemons, make lemonade, right?

I better go sleep now... still crossing my fingers kw would be able to escape that horrible hell of a camp they call tekong tmrw! x

What i've been up to this three weeks? I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

At the budget terminal - so fascinated by the whole carton of cigarettes hahaha so sad there wasn't any ice blast :'(

My air fare and hotel room expenses were a waste of time eventually. But that's story for another day. Took a cable car up to genting! Go there like king and queens - took a cab every where and each trip >100rm. So sick.

The next day kw and his mom went to rws and when i met him he won a lil bit of $$ and he brought me to dtf to eat! That was the start of my good food spree weekend. Have gained 6kg since. Don't ask. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.

His idea to go to vivo and want to walk around Toys R Us. Errrrr?? Maybe because he was too happy he strike 4D hahaha

Everyday take cab. I made him promise when he books out no more cab taking. Every trip >$10. Every day take 4-5 times. Pek cek. Why can't sg be like msia, no midnight surcharge one. 0.0

Next day - we at Kushinbo for dinner. I didn't want to eat..... but the food were too fucking awesome to refrain. Literally everything. I was busy stuffing myself with salson sashimi so sex!!!!!! And the chasoba - my favourite

Promised him a picture everyday until the 25th until he books out. Fuck the confinement week! I haven't been this happy in ages.

p/s: We're not in a relationship per say, but we're definitely happy. I'm not used to being treated like a princess, so for the first few days everything felt so surreal. Like a dream. I'm not going to turn spoilt, neither am I going to take any of this granted. I'm still me, and you told me before you liked that i was down to earth and simple. And I intend to keep myself that way. What up everyone? Yesterday night I tried Bishan's 'very famous' kuey chap... nothing fantastic leh omgzzzzz and i heard everyone raving about it for so long!! Such a disappointment. : (

Prawning!!!! I'm starting to reeaaaaaaaaaaaaaally dig prawning. Hahaha i used to think it was boring, before i started learning how to cook and peek and stick 'em! Good catch up/bonding sessions with my best friends, god i've missed them.

We had like over 40 prawns to share between the 5 of us, yum yum!!! Definitely enjoyed myself last night, and time just sort of flew by before we knew it it was already time to go home.

Things i've been up to recently?
Few nights back i met agus for supper and it was an impromptu decision to prawn at 4 in the morning. Good thing I wasn't tired and the bangla gave us 30 over prawns to cook and bbq!! My first time actually making charcoal, the fire, waiting, peeling, and eating the prawns. They were the sex!!!! There were even lobsters omgz!!!

All in all, phuture is shit. Rebel is soooooo much spacious and the people there are less pushy. It's like phuture everyone's on the dance floor and it's hell. I hated staying on the dancefloor, couldn't even breathe!!!! Had supper before retiring home. I love hot long showers.

Things I definitely miss: someone to count on. I'm someone impulsive, and impulsive is always a bad thing, according to everyone around me. Everyone who knows me know i have a temper, and I'm not afraid to use it. I've been thinking, why is everyone so afraid of growing up? Growing up - does everyone have to do it alone? Must it be painful? This process of growing up? Random thoughts before I hit the sack.... god these thoughts are emotionally draining.
I've always been someone who grew out of her shell, and ran away so many times from home that even sometimes my own parents don't recognize me. I've been caught, handed over to the cops so many times that seeing a policeman doesn't make me nervous anymore. I've been hurt, over and over again that I feel like I'm invincible now. Nothing can hurt me. I've always had friends around me, who care about me, who'll in a blink of an eye - appear right in front of me. God I love my friends, but sometimes I wonder - is there something in store for me? Something much more powerful? And happier? I always thought I was dependent, that I was needy, and that I made a terrible girlfriend. These few days I'm alone made me think - actually I've always been strong. All these years, all my problems, I've been able to conquer them one by one. I've managed to tackle and climb any mountain life has shove into my face. So what if nights like these make me wanna run away and hide in the dark? I'll get through this, I always do. And when I'm done - I'll just look back and laugh. I've always been excited to try out new things, so why should this time be any different?
This new liberation.... it's refreshing, and I'm almost afraid to step out and face the world on my own, but at the same time, i'm exhilarated, and breathless. I wonder what's in store for me.

September was nothing but a rollercoaster ride. It got off to a great start, with family vacations and couples' honeymoon, which slowly dissapated to tiny quarrels and deafening differences, which has led to me trying to tackle every upcoming obstacle alone now. September has been a rough run, so I guess things can't get any worser now, can it?

I know! I know! Sorry for the long hiatus but I guess I've just been kind of lazy....

I'm updating now, right! Last friday saw us at Rebel - it's been almost 4 months since I last stepped into a club - the last time I did i managed to get myself totally deadfuckingdrunk and my friends had to pay cover charge and then send me home so it was quite a rough night for all of us. Thank god the same thing didn't happen this time! I really cannot control my liquor....... i should know better than to drink the next time ._____.

The worse thing is one of my pet peeves is drunk girls who make a fool out of themselves after they lose their soberness. Talk about irony, ugh!

Anyway it was also gab's last day as a free man - he is now serving the nation as a firefighter - HA! But he is so relaxed because he went in on tuesday and it's friday and we're seeing him later o.o

Nevertheless, it was definitely a fun night! Got to catch up a lot with my bbg whitney <:

For those who are asking why you don't see her in my pictures as often it's not because we fought it's because we have our own things in our lives to do but we still try to make time for each other!

It was my first ever photoshoot in a long long time and working with people I'm unfamiliar with was always a challenge for me. It's 5:30 in the morning, and the coach that'll be taking us to genting leaves in an hour. But here I am, in bed doing this because I promised I'll blog about bangkok and it's only fair I update before i take another three days before i blog about (yet) another time to genting. But this time it's different - i'm going with a whole bunch of new faces - Zack's first time and Gab's last. He's going into army already : ( I hate it that all my friends are leaving to serve the nation - but i love it that everyone's growing up.

Before I get all emotional and teary eyed because my period came today - (fuck!), I better get started on the pictures!

Then we went to this really cool place called Anna's Restaurant - rich in heritage and rumoured to be owned by Anna herself - did you guys watch the movie The King And I? The owner is the great great great grandson of Anna herself - and has all these photos of him with other celebrities plastered on the wall of his restaurant - the food was delicious - a fusion of thai and french cuisine - yum yum!

The 4 days flew by like a blur - before we knew it we were on the plane home back to sg -
Can't say I miss Bangkok - the people there are temperamental (it must be the weather) but other than that it is no doubt a beautiful country and I would love to visit in the future hopefully with friends and better company

Well fucking done chantelle I just realised i haven't been blogging for close to a month.

I've had so, so, so much going on recently that I hardly have time to tweet, even. I feel so disconnected from the cyber world I don't even have time to check out my favourite bloggers anymore. I don't even have time to update my facebook status.

What a weekend

I hardly leave the house when I'm feeing comfortable under my sheets, but for a glimpse of my best friends, I did! My new shoes gave me blisters all over but luckily I wore really thick socks.. Hair was falling all over the place and I didn't look my best. But what does it matter anyway? Sitting there for hours just listening to them bicker and laugh.... the best distraction anyone could offer me. My weekend have been more than I could ask for, so thank you, everyone who played a part in making me smile.

I know I appear cheerful - almost every single time - maybe it's because I choose to display only certain emotions. The war is over, and though my heart is gradually settling down, there are times I experience mini 'speed bumps' along the way.

It's 3 in the morning and I'm scared shitless but I have nobody to talk to, one of the feelings I hate the most. Tomorrow marks the first day of 7-day-study-week, and I wont be going out as often anymore. I will, however, promise to upload another vlog and blog as often as possible x

p/s: Tomorrow also marks the first day of me taking the first step towards getting my bike license - what the hell is bike orientation anyway?

I remember mentioning some time between last week that I was going to for a photoshoot, well I did!!!!! And it was my very first time posing in a studio in front of unfamiliar faces...... but it was so! much! fun!
It was pretty embarrassing for me at first, and when I first stepped in I was a little gawky and looked really awkward standing next to the other model (she is so pretty!!) but by the time I tried on the fourth or fifth piece I kind of got the hang of it... And I mentioned before I love the owner of this blog shop - she is REALLY friendly and super responsible - and sixntwelve has come a long way! I remember doing an advertorial for them when they first started!

The blazers!!! My favourite pieces... comes in 4 different colors and I kept the orange one because I adored the bold, pastel colors, really eye catching!!! Heard they're selling like hot cakes so better grab them fast ok!!!

The chiffon tiered tops!!! They look amazzzzzzzzing when you wear them with leggings/jeans/jeggings + heels! Because I almost never wear jeans but when I tried them on with heels - i felt like a complete hottie! It goes well with the polkadotted high waist skorts (as seen in the third picture)

Day 02 : The meaning behind your blog name

I've changed my blog names a couple of times..... and there is always a story behind my web name. I remember there was once it was slavegoddess/blgspt, back when I had this ex boyfriend during secondary school, and he would get angry over everything. Like when I would talk to the boys in my class - even my best friends, he would pick a quarrel with me. And it came to the point whereby I felt more like a slave to him because I would always be at his beck and call. Thus slavegoddess. Then there was a time when it was called...... errrrr memorabilia/blgspt, I think during the time I was single but I had a crush on this boy in my high school. We hung out a little back when I was really really young (think 14?!) and I never really got over him. So that name stood for a while until..... 2009.

That same boy asked me to be his girlfriend.

And all along he was the one to me, all the way during high school. So when he and I got together, in my head I was like, jackpot!!!!! Weekends are enough

Hi everyone, how was your weekend? Hope you guys haven't been like me, incessantly spending money without even thinking what you could have bought/spent on - like yesterday, i could have bought myself a pair of birks .________.

But wdv! What's done is done - met up with Marcus for pokernite on Friday - missed him and Whitney!!!!!

Marky's just like a girl - bad with directions!!! We took a cab while he followed closely behind all the way to the poker place! Hahahaha

After poker, Gab and Zack picked us up in the cab while they were like half drunk and we had supper at some really ulu foodcourt at like 4 in the morning. Crashed gab's house for the night and the bed almost broke hahahaha woke up to gab with his finger in my nose (_|_) and watched I Spit On Your Grave for the 2nd time.
STILL GROSS.

Fell back asleep, and woke up for the second time in the evening - we are fucking animals

Caught Transformers 3 yesterday..... in 3D.

I hate 3D. It is

1) A strain on the eyes
2) A waste of extra money
3) Not much difference

If only movies were like the Shrek 4D in Universal Studios, I might contemplate. Like when Optimus Prime goes underwater got water splash on our faces all.

The graphics were awesome and this time I took so much notice as to how many tires Bumblebee has on his body. I think about 17, what you think? And throughout the whole movie I couldn't tell which one was Optimus and which one was the Sentinel. Enough about the movie, I'm getting bored just talking about it.

At least I got to spend the whole of today with this boy!!!! I absolutely love waking up to his kisses. It's like they have this secret ingredient in them which stirs up all the happy emotions inside me and I wake up smiling each time!!! ^^

Have been playing poker so fucking often recently - out of a week? Maybe 5 days? Obviously out of leisure... I hardly ever win poker. Mahjong had always been like a way for me to win money, but poker............ poker's so brutal. Thank god I'm such an amateur and I play 20cent 40cent - Something like those noobies also start mahjong 20cent 40cent right?!

But I miss mahjong so much though. Always up for a mahjong game!!!!

It's 1 in the morning, and I feel so relieved because I just cleared up a big quarrel I had with one of my best friends. Realised that maybe sometimes I should reflect on how I can be a better listener, and a better friend. I don't wanna lose any more people in my life. I'm happy with life now. No more emo tweets, no more emo blog posts, and I'm starting to dream again. I'm starting to get used to this....

It's amazing, how you managed to break me apart in 50 words and put me back together in 10. You were always great in talking, your words always dripping with sweet nothingness. I'm sorry I couldnt make time for you. I'm sorry I was ignorant as to how important I was to you. Now that I've lost you, looking back I realised, well, yeah, maybe I was in the wrong after all.

What's up guys? Sorry for the really really long hiatus...... have been sooooooOOooooo busy recently with all sorts of rubbish recently. Think school, poker, (mostly poker), catching up with friends, movie marathons..... thinking about poker just makes me sick. Lost up to $400 recently because of that fucking game.

My luck has been so bad recently. Take today for example. I was actually brimming with my chips (i bought in $100) and then I had AA. I raised preflop this dude called. Flop was two diamonds - blank -. Not looking good for me so I shoved all in. He called. Turns out he was drawing flush and so I decided to run once. NEXT CARD COME OUT DIAMOND. Even if run twice also lose.

Bought in again, next hand KK. Raised preflop, the SAME GUY RERAISED. I shoved, he called.
